The first musical Cole Porter and Herbert Fields wrote together was 1929’s Fifty Million Frenchmen, whose title alludes to a 1927 song not actually used in the show. The most memorable song it does use is Porter’s “You Do Something to Me”, in which the two main characters confess their mutual beguilement.
