Conversations With Copyright Renewal Data: Discovering 20th century public domain serial literature, and linking renewal information with other knowledge bases

Original slides and speaker notes for my presentation for the “Hiding in Plain Sight: The Value of Machine-Processable Copyright Data” session at the CNI 2018 Fall Membership Meeting in Washington on December 10, 2018. Available here as a 7 MB PDF file.

Formatting of these slides differs somewhat from the slides as presented (due to style changes when we incorporated them into the overall session deck), and what I actually said varied a bit from the notes here (though these are fairly close). A recording of the session is now available at at CNI’s Fall 2018 Membership Meeting site.
